This site is completely subjective.  I post about products, ideas, and things that I love and would actually use.  I do not add a bunch of stuff to the pages just to have 'stuff' and a crazy full website.  I work as much as I can at adding lots of new things, but I do have a life just like you! :)

I do not make any money promoting  or linking items on this site (except for the google ads and my own products).  In the event that I do receive commission from a product review, I will divulge that information.

I do make money from selling my items on TPT and Teacher's Notebook.  I put a ton of hours and hard work (spent outside of school time and into my bedtime) into creating things that I use with my students and don't feel that it's fair that I give everything away for free.  I can either share them this way... or keep them hidden on my hard drive and share only with my teammates.  :)  If we can spend lots of $$$ at giant school supply stores, then what's wrong with buying awesome materials from real teachers... who actually use them in class!?  Plus, most of that money gets blown on more TPT & TN stuff.  It's a vicious cycle.

Rabbit Trail:
If you're someone that can't afford products or doesn't believe in buying anything, then that's ok.  I try to post as many free items as I can and do frequent giveaways.  I love a bargain too!  It took me a while to press that 'purchase' button the first time and I haven't looked back.  I used to say "Oh I can make that!" or "Pffft... $5.00 for a unit on plants!?  Outrageous!"  But let me tell you.... I have saved SOOOOOO much time and stress.   There are amazing things that I would never think of and a lot are so ginormous that I would never be able to devote enough time to making them.  Time is money right?  There are a lot of good values out there if you just look, read the reviews, and trust!  Use your judgement.  You can tell which products are well-made, relevant, and 'worth it.'

Ok, back to other disclaimer things...

I cannot be responsible if you try a product I recommend and don't like it or it fails to deliver during a lesson.  We're all adults.  Use your own judgement to make decisions about what will and won't work in your classroom.  What works for me may not work for you.

If you disagree with my reviews, posts, or thoughts... or even style of writing (I'm slightly sarcastic), then that's ok.  That's the beauty of it.  We are blessed to have the freedom to create places like this and share our experiences, thoughts, materials, and more.  You can create a website about fairy dust and unicorns (and sell leprechaun traps) if you want.  I probably won't read it, but you can do it.

I respect opinions and comments and will rarely delete them.  However, any inappropriate or nasty comments will be pulled.

I truly love being a teacher and created this site because I was losing control over my 'bookmarks' and the Excel file I used to organize all of the ideas and links.  There are so many wonderful resources out there and my goal is to share them with you.

Ok, that's all the technical stuff.

God bless and have fun on here!
Ashley
