Today, I've got a fun freebie for you.  This is a game that I make for my EFL students ALLLLLL the time.  We play it almost every week.  It's such a good vocabulary builder because they have to identify a picture and associate it with the written word.  They LOVE it and sometimes get a little crazy with the dice.  They also love to correct each other and get a little competitive with it.  I've adapted it today to give you a little something for Thanksgiving!  I hope you can use it.  :)

Download on TPT for FREE!

You get two dice with food pictures (Thanksgiving of couse), a direction sheet, and a graph for students to record their rolls.  I've included suggestions on how to structure it for your class as well.  I hope you love it!  Happy Friday everyone!

Hi Ashley...I just found your blog and website through FB! OMG!!! I LOVE your graphics!!!! So adorable. I am definitely going to purchase a few of your kits for some of the ideas that I have for some new products for my TPT store.

I was wondering if I could ask you a question.... I am probably the LEAST artistic person in the world!! LOL I cannot draw to save my life. However, I made an activity kit that I am selling in my tpt store and I did a craft activity in my class that I wanted to add to my product. However, I don't know how to do it. We made cactuses in my class the other day because we were writing about the saguaro cactus. I wanted to add something like this to my product but I don't know how to do that. I figured it would have to be drawn in pieces and then the purchaser can cut out the pieces and make tracers for their class. So I guess my question is...would I do this in photoshop? It was a simple cut out of a cactus on construction paper but I am not sure how to add this to my product. Do you have any advice for me? I would so appreciate it. I am following your TPT store. Can't wait to get my hands on some of your adorable graphics!!!

Thanks
Anna

Hi Anna,
I replied below, but I don't know if it will be connected to your original message. I want to make sure it notifies you.... so that's why I'm writing this one! :)

Hi Anna! I would say that the easiest way to do that would be to draw them out on white paper with a sharpie. Then just scan them into your document. I know that most of the ones I have purchased with craft templates are done that way. You could do it in Photoshop or a design program, but it would be a little tricky trying to make sure the proportions were correct. :) Hadar Moar, of Miss Kindergarten (http://www.miss-kindergarten.com/), is an expert. She does a lot of craftivities that involve creating templates. I hope that helps a little! Thanks so much for your sweet comments. I look forward to seeing what you whip up with my clipart!

Take care,
Ashley
