I think I've found the source of the random hairs that get stuck in my laminating pouches.  He is ridiculous... and cute.  I know I'm not the only one that gets hair in their laminating.  I've even found one of my own long brown ones.  Seriously.  The pouch is open for a second.  How does that happen?!?!  Drives me bonkers.

Also, yes I sit on the floor and do my laminating.  The cord is really short and our tiny Swiss apartment has like one outlet in each room.  I'm just happy I was able to find my own personal laminator over here... and I didn't have to take out a loan to buy it.  If only they had Cameo's.  :(

I had a request to make some technology graphics from the fabulous Katie over at Queen of the First Grade Jungle.  I whipped some up for her and went a head and made them available in my TPT store.  There are two different sets.  Also, I finally finished the pumpkin life cycle set I've been working on for a bit.  I have a project planned this Fall and needed to get it done.  I searched everywhere for one, but couldn't find one with all of the stages I needed.  Click on the pictures below to see them in more detail!

MP3 players, phones, tablets, and headphones

Computer, Interactive Board with markers and eraser, document camera, microphone, and headphones

Dirt, seed, sprout, small plant, vine, leaf, flower, mini green pumpkin, green pumpkin, orange pumpkin, half pumpkin, and pulp
I include a blackline (black outline) of each graphic I make.  I don't like when I have to make printables without them, so I include them for you.  :)  Yay!

And onto the freebies!  I start school on Wednesday, so I've been busy planning, printing, reading, laminating, not sleeping, and getting nervous about meeting my new kiddos!  I have one class of beginners, so I found myself in need of some basic kindergarten-ish stuff.  Luckily I taught K and have some things saved, but I left a lot of my posters and classroom decorations back in the US.

Boo.

So, I had to think of a cheap way to make some 'color' posters.  Color ink over here is about $35 for one cartridge.  I kid you not.  I try not to use colored ink if I can help it.   My favorite trick is to just make it in bw and print on colored paper.  Voila.  Color without the cost.

Let's get right into Freebie #2.  Again, it's a black a white one.  I do a lot of group work, so I needed some group signs.  Not just any old group signs.  Chevron.  Remember the last post?  Yes.  I'm obsessed.  Here are some cute group signs (1-10) that you can print on colored paper if you want.  Fun and Free.  What's not to like?

That's all I've got today my sweet blog friends.  I'm pooped.  I've got a few more hours of prepping for my first day and then I've got to study.  I started grad school this fall, so I'll be a busy girl this year.  Yikes.

That reminds me.  I have a T.O.N. of emails and messages coming from the blog.  If you've contacted me through here, then I'm so sorry I'm taking forever and a day to respond.  I have so much going on right now and it takes a lot of time to go through all of the messages.  So sorry if you've been waiting on a response from me.  I'll eventually get back to you.  If you ever have a quick question, then the best way to reach me is via the Facebook page.  It's easier to connect and get back to people in a more timely fashion.  Thanks for your patience.

As promised, here are some photos from our recent trip to Berlin and Prague.  We had such an amazing time and feel blessed to be able to take these trips while we're in such a central location.  I promise it's super cheap to travel once you're over here.  It's the US to Europe flight that's so darn expensive.
Hope everyone has a blessed week!

Hello!

I'm an American, working in Italy at a French school. I almost just spit up my coffee when I saw your personal laminator. WHERE DID YOU GET IT?! Love your site and ideas. Great work : )

Hi Cori! That's awesome you're in Italy. We LOVE, love, love Italy. I was so excited when I found the laminator. I just had to have it. I found it at Migros, which is a popular chain here in Switzerland. I know you can also order one through Amazon over here too! :)
